Spot-Spray Nozzles

The ARAG Tapered Fan nozzle (like the CFLD-XC4002) puts a much higher volume of spray right in the central 25 cm "target zone" directly below the nozzle. In contrast, an Even Fan nozzle spreads the spray more uniformly across its entire footprint (with no strong peak in the center).

Because the tapered fan concentrates so much more output immediately under the nozzle, where you want it for spot spraying or targeted applications, you typically need to use a smaller nozzle size than you're used to with even fans to achieve the same application rate in that key central area.

In practice: The CFLD-XC4002 (Tapered) usually replaces an EF4003 (Even) to deliver similar effective coverage in the target zone while reducing waste outside it. This design makes tapered fans especially useful for precision and spot spraying (for example with PWM or optical systems), as they focus the dose where it matters most.
